Description
GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper complex of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine, to which a copper(II) ion is bound. The tripeptide GHK occurs naturally in human plasma; in combination with copper it forms this characteristic complex. GHK-Cu is among the longest-known and most widely studied copper peptides and is an established subject of investigation in peptide and biochemistry research.
